Working for the Project Department to ensure the safe, effective and proficient installation of Flowbird Solutions including but not limited to ANPR car park solutions, Pay & Display Terminals and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.
To project manage, install, commission and repair Flowbird equipment supplied by Flowbird on the customer’s site & assist other internal departments when required.
Willingness to work unsociable hours and away from home is essential; this may include weekend and/or bank holiday working, as necessary. Travelling the length & breadth of the UK with occasional oversees visits.
This role will suit a motivated and self-driven engineer who can combine Project Management and Technical skills.
Ensuring that work packages and projects are progressed and completed in the most efficient and profitable manner for Flowbird, within timescales and budget, whilst at the same time working with suppliers and contractors to project a highly professional image to our customers.

Candidate Requirements
Electrical/Electronics Qualifications preferred.
Basic understanding of IP networks.
Project engineer/management experience.
Skilled use of Google/Microsoft Office packages.
Full UK Driving Licence
Core Skills & Abilities
Ability to install and commission, including fault finding & communication networks.
A methodical approach to fault finding and issue resolution.
Ability to create and manage Project Gant charts.
Ability to communicate at different levels, from sub-contractors up to senior customer representatives.
Ability to manage several work packages or entire small projects concurrently with excellent time management.
High standard of written English
Ability to work to deadlines, working the hours required to overcome issues arising, utilising a “can do” attitude.
Attention to detail for own and team duties whilst undertaking project tasks.
Keep accurate written and diagrammatic records of all work undertake, in a form which can easily be understood by non-technical staff.
Ability to discuss technical issues with all levels of customer staff, often at a non-technical level.
Ability to deal with staff at all levels.
Excellent oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
Assertive yet polite approach, the ability to confidently take a technical lead on new projects.
