Identifies, negotiates and manages strategic relationships in the Flowbird Parking Division for the US. Manages from sales to delivery to obtain and expand beyond the existing business. Provides sales support to achieve revenue and growth objectives of the Flowbird product line in specific territories and target customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales in the targeted market: key accounts, key decision makers, processes, and technical leaders;
- Identify all aspects of business possibilities within parking while achieving targets;
- Responsible for all aspects of contracts and terms of installation;
- Implement and maintain a structured on-going communication plan with all relevant stakeholders at 100-150 customer organizations;
- Facilitate and remain involved in bid responses from both a strategic and operational view;
- Oversee project delivery by interacting closely with the Operations Team while continuously strengthening the customer relationship;
- Establish and maintain strategic business relationships including investigation of possibilities, negotiating contracts, managing projects and support pre- and post-sales at all levels;
- Promote solutions through presentations, trade shows, technology seminars and all direct customer relationships; and
- Participate in parking, transit and related industry organizations that will benefit Flowbird’s goodwill and presence in the targeted market.
Additional Responsibilites:
- Work with the marketing team on monthly campaigns for targeted customers;
- Identify, research, qualify and document potential new customers and sales opportunities in select markets and territories;
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communication; and
- Maintain account, contact, lead, campaign, and opportunity data in Salesforce.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance or Marketing
- Certified Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) certificate
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of professional relevant sales experience;
- Managed multiple projects and priorities at once in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficient with MS Office Suite/Google suite;
- Experience with Salesforce;
- Proven track record of successful business to state/local government (or business to business) sales development for transit, payment services, or other government markets that require complex technology solutions consisting of both hardware and software as a service solutions or equipment systems;
- Working knowledge of core technologies within the hardware, software, payments, wireless, and data communications industry; and
- Experience interacting with all levels within a government organization, including boards and commissions.
Physical Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% of the time throughout the US;
- Possess and maintain an unrestricted driver’s license;
- Comfortably travel by car and/or airplane; and
- Flexible to accommodate business needs.
