We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to oversee and administer the employees perfect rewards and smart benefits. You will assess personnel needs and draft targeted programs that will increase performance, organisational trust and satisfaction.
The goal is to attract, retain and motivate high-quality employees while reducing turnover and enhancing our company’s profile as the best place to work.
Responsibilities
- Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organizational objectives
- Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications
- Responsibilities includes researching, establishing and maintaining Garcia Roofing pay system.
- Keep up with pay raises and new changes.
- Work with managers to help develop promotion and retention strategies for exiting employees.
- Determine competitive wage rates and change as necessary.
- Weekly checking and approving timecards (Calling and verifying with employees and managers).
- Ensure that the company's pay scale complies with changing state and federal laws and regulations.
- Oversee the distribution of pay to employees.
- Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports
Requirements
- Must have experience with computers and software.
- Proven working experience as a compensation and benefits specialist
- Adequate knowledge of current labor rules and regulations
- Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Job Information

- Hours - Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm
