Junior Electrical Designer / Electrical Project Controller

G&L are a long standing Electrical and Mechanical installation contractor and we are looking for a Junior / Electrical Project Controller to join our in-house design team. 

As a Junior Electrical Designer / Electrical Project Controller you will be expected to assist the existing design team with but not limited to the following duties:

• Site Surveys
• Document Control
• Bills of materials and material management
• Plant management
• Assisting in the creation of Single line diagrams / Block cable diagrams / Cable termination drawings / System autarchical diagrams 
• Site layout drawings
• Installation tracking / as built & O&M coordination 

Knowledge & experience required:

• Good communication skills required and be able to accompany colleagues to meetings with clients, other professional design team members and contractors
• Some knowledge of the Electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of BS7671 would be beneficial 
• High standard of written and verbal English.
• Able to handle several ongoing projects at various stage
• Full UK drivers licence essential.
• Previous experience working within the utility sector beneficial. 

Salary based on experience £24k – £35K
