Job Description: As a Cashier/Host at Global Partners, you will be responsible for handling sales transactions, greeting and seating guests, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Your role will involve balancing cashier duties with hosting responsibilities to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
• Provide detailed information about the menu, promotions, and store policies.
• Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.

Cashier Duties:

• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions including cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Issue receipts, handle returns and exchanges, and provide accurate change.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.

Hosting Responsibilities:

• Manage the guest seating process, including greeting guests, taking reservations, and managing waitlists.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient guest service.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area.

Operational Support:

• Assist with stocking and organizing merchandise or menu items as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock items to management.
• Support other team members with various tasks and projects to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cashier, host, or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using a cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality or related fields are a plus.
