Job Description: As a Team Member/Cashier at Global Partners, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, and supporting the daily operations of the store. This role requires a dynamic individual who can multitask and contribute to various aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Cashiering Duties:

• Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, positive experience.
• Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in line with company policies.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and report any discrepancies to management.

Customer Service:

• Assist customers with inquiries about products, promotions, and store policies.
• Resolve customer issues in a professional and efficient manner.
• Provide information about ongoing sales, discounts, and loyalty programs.

Team Member Responsibilities:

• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean store environment.
• Support inventory management, including counting stock and replenishing items as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.
• Contribute to a welcoming and supportive team atmosphere.

Customer Engagement:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, encouraging repeat visits.
• Gather customer feedback to help improve service quality and store offerings.
• Contribute to the overall success of the store by taking on additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to different roles within the store.
• Basic math skills and experience handling transactions.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail or customer service are a plus.
