Job Description: As a Team Member/Cashier at Global Partners, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to our customers while efficiently managing transactions and supporting various operational tasks. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Provide information about our products and services, helping customers make informed decisions.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Cashiering and Transactions:

• Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit payments.
• Issue receipts, process returns and exchanges, and manage customer billing inquiries.
• Ensure accuracy in all transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.

Operational Support:

• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Support daily operations by preparing merchandise for display and managing inventory levels.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store readiness.

Team Collaboration:

• Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting colleagues and sharing ideas.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to help achieve team and store goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service, cashier, or retail role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
