Job Description: As a Warehouse Team Member at Global Partners, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your role will involve receiving and shipping goods, handling stock, and supporting the overall logistics function. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team will be key to ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store inventory in the appropriate locations.
• Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
• Assist with the preparation of goods for shipment, including packaging and labeling.

Warehouse Operations:

• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Customer Service:

• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments or inventory.
• Provide support to other departments as needed, including shipping and receiving.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (training will be provided if needed).
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse operations or logistics are a plus.
