Job Description :
As an integral part of the Institutional Equity Sales Desk, you will be responsible for the following :
- Responsible for overall Institutional Business and handling and expanding portfolios of clients for Institutional Equity
- Acquire new clients (FIIs/Domestic FIs) and build the Institutional client base for Institutional Brokerage business
- Service Institutional Investors with equity research ideas generated by the equity research team and facilitate Investors understanding of the market opportunities
- Keeping them updated on the research calls being made by the organization and advising them on the asset allocation within their portfolio
- Identify, convert & develop successful business relationships with Banks, FIIs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Hedge Funds & other Institutional Investor segments for Equity sales.
- Responsible to retain existing assets, and increase new assets under management and grow revenues generated
- Cover the designated market and contribute towards building and running the firms marketing and sales effort.
- Generate leads and act as a productive resource by meeting targets thereby ensuring the fulfilment of budgetary expectations of the organization.
- Coordinating meet between research team with various kind of institutions and corporate
- Responsible for identifying customer needs and assessing their risk appetite
- Prepare and execute a sales plan for the assigned relationship accounts.
- Monitor clients product preferences and assess their investment goals, and work closely with the Senior Management, Capital Markets in structuring the appropriate products.
- Liaise between the clients and the company's specialist desks and cross-sell the company's full range of financial services and products
- Maintain records of clients and provide timely progress reports to management.
- You may also be responsible for the preparation of marketing materials and presentations of the company's products and services.
- Responsible for revenue generation in terms of brokerage
- Manage customer meetings and sales process as part of his reporting structure.
- Conducting market research for generating business thereby adding for revenue generation
- Preparing and maintaining MIS report
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA with 4 to 12 years of experience in Institutional Equity Sales
- An established past record of acquiring Equity Institutional clients a must
- Exceptional knowledge of professional and institutional trading
- Should have strong networking and relationship building skills
- Adequate knowledge of the Equity market and the dynamics of Broking business Functional Area
In-depth knowledge of the economic trends and events and their potential effect on customers assets
- Excellent command of the English language, communication
- Superior sales skills, Customer Focused, Strong process understanding, Self-starter
