- Title: Associate Educator at Healthy Child Care Colorado
- Assist the Education Director in developing and delivering educational programs and resources on topics related to health, safety, and wellness in childcare settings
- Conduct research and gather information to support the development and improvement of educational materials
- Collaborate with community organizations and childcare providers to promote healthy practices and policies in early childhood education
- Create and maintain relationships with local and state agencies to stay informed and up-to-date on health and safety regulations and best practices in early childhood education
- Develop and maintain a library of resources and materials for childcare providers and families
- Participate in trainings, conferences, and meetings to stay current on advances in the field of early childhood education
- Other duties as assigned by the Education Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, public health, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education or public health
- Knowledge of health and wellness principles and their application in the early childhood setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
- Passion for improving the quality of childcare and promoting the well-being of children
