    Position Overview:

    Healthy Child Care Colorado is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Associate Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a strong understanding of health and wellness principles, and the ability to collaborate with others to create positive change in the childcare industry. The Associate Educator will work closely with the Education Director to develop and implement educational programs and resources for childcare providers and families.

    Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Education Director in developing and delivering educational programs and resources on topics related to health, safety, and wellness in childcare settings
  • Conduct research and gather information to support the development and improvement of educational materials
  • Collaborate with community organizations and childcare providers to promote healthy practices and policies in early childhood education
  • Create and maintain relationships with local and state agencies to stay informed and up-to-date on health and safety regulations and best practices in early childhood education
  • Develop and maintain a library of resources and materials for childcare providers and families
  • Participate in trainings, conferences, and meetings to stay current on advances in the field of early childhood education
  • Other duties as assigned by the Education Director

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, public health, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education or public health
  • Knowledge of health and wellness principles and their application in the early childhood setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
  • Passion for improving the quality of childcare and promoting the well-being of children
