Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated Data Manager to join the Herc-U-Lift team! The Data Manager oversees the development and use of data systems, ensuring effective data management, data entry procedures, and data analysis.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collect and clean data to ensure it’s accurate and error free.
- Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure data is organized and stored appropriately. This includes creating and documenting data processes.
- Interpreting raw data and turning it into usable feedback and applications.
- Train end-users on processes, reports, KPIs and dashboards to ensure high data quality.
- Educate colleagues on data management best practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to analyze data and generate insights.
- Generate and deliver reports.
- Explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Create interactive visualizations to learn trends, patterns, and variations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, NetSuite
- Familiar with SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on projects.
- Ability to read, interpret, and verify data from multiple formats.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- A deep understanding of the industry and business operations is a plus
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times.
