Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference in your local community every day?

Heritage Healthcare Trafford & Cheshire is expanding due to growing demand from local clients. We are currently recruiting dedicated Female Community Care Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team.

We provide high-quality care to people within their own homes, helping them remain safe, independent, and connected to the people and places they love. This is a people-focused role, not just "task-based" care.

Whether you already work in care or are looking to start a new, meaningful career path, we provide full paid training, ongoing support, and a welcoming team environment to help you succeed.

Immediate starts are available for suitable applicants.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Community Care Assistant, you will visit clients in their own homes to support their independence, wellbeing, and dignity. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Companionship: Providing emotional support and building trusted relationships with clients and families.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with personal care, washing, and dressing with the utmost respect.
  • Nutrition: Preparing fresh meals and drinks.
  • Medication: Prompting and supporting clients with vital medication.
  • Daily Support: Helping with light household duties and daily routines.
  • Mobility: Assisting clients to remain mobile, active, and safe at home.

No two days are ever the same, and the small things you do each day can make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

What We Offer

We believe that to care for our clients properly, we must first care for our team. We provide:

  • Competitive Pay: £14.85/hr weekdays, £15.85/hr weekends, and double pay on Bank Holidays.
  • Travel Support: Paid mileage and paid travel time (designed to keep your care visits local and minimise unnecessary travel).
  • Zero Upfront Costs: Free Enhanced DBS check and free company uniform.
  • Training & Qualifications: Full paid induction training provided, with ongoing training and funded qualifications (Health & Social Care).
  • Perks & Rewards: Blue Light Card discount scheme, "Recommend-a-Friend" monetary bonus, and team recognition events throughout the year.
  • Supportive Culture: Backing and respect from an approachable, local management team.

Role Requirements

To maintain the high standards of care our community expects, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Licence & Vehicle: A full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle is essential for this community role.
  • Right to Work: Legal Right to Work in the UK. Please note: We are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship for overseas applicants.
  • Availability: Shift availability between the hours of 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. We require availability for at least 3 weekdays plus alternate weekends.
  • Gender Exception: Due to the personal care and privacy needs of our current clients, this vacancy is open to female applicants only, permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
  • Key Qualities: Reliable, compassionate, caring nature, with good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and satisfactory professional references.

If you are kind, reliable, and ready to build a rewarding career supporting people in your local community, we would love to hear from you.
