The Role:
An exciting opportunity for a commercially orientated Accountant to support the continued growth of the business, in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. Reporting to the Chief Executive
The role affords the successful applicant an opportunity to provide key business support to the CEO and to develop and grow the role and the Finance team as the business expands.
Summary Responsibility:
- To be responsible for the effective Financial management of the business including systems, reporting and internal controls.
- Contributing to the strategic development of the business plan.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
- Prepare and present timely, accurate and standardised Financial information, including:
- Weekly revenue/debtor reconciliations
- Weekly cash flow
- Monthly management pack (content to be agreed)
- Financial Forecasts and Budgets
2. Bespoke Financial analysis to support business decision making:
- Sensitivity and risk analysis
3. Responsible for Statutory Accounts
4. Establish a set of Financial policies, procedures and internal controls and ensure compliance with this Financial framework.
5. Play a leading role in system’s development and change control.
6. Provide Financial vision and leadership, supporting the CEO. The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO to deliver the business plan, maximising profitability and the operational effectiveness of the business.
7. Actively engage and collaboratively manage key Financial relationships and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ CIMA)
Knowledge/ Experience/ Skills/ Competencies:
- A technically qualified Accountant with several years post qualification experience in senior roles.
- A self starter. Initially the Candidate will be the sole member of the Finance team responsible for all Financial reporting, controls and systems. Workload will range from weekly reconciliations through to presentation of monthly management packs. A‘ hands on’ approach is absolutely essential.

Package:
- Salary in the region of £65,000-£70,000 per annum, reviewed annually.
- 26 days holiday plus birthday off

- Hybrid 2 days in office required.
