JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Inside Sales Consultant

Department: Sales

Reports to: Sales Manager

FLSA: Non-exempt

Employment Status: Full or Part-time

Salary: Base Plus Commission


Position Summary

Responsible for prospecting for new clients and referral sources by phone, direct mail, office visits, networking events, etc. within a defined territory. Your main responsibility is to generate leads & set appointments for our sales consultants, which will drive additional revenue growth. Maintain and increase personal knowledge of applicable products via training, documentation and self-study, while also performing administrative and related functions as needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Secure referrals and leads from sales databases
  • Responsible for generating leads through telemarketing
  • Develop and Maintain Excellent Relationships with assigned referral sources
  • Record daily activity in sales customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Building profile and information for new unknown accounts to build database
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or three or more years of office-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree is highly preferred.
  • Proven facility in customer service and sales
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
