Icon V is seeking a skilled and creative Communications Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to effectively promote the company's brand, products, and services to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans to support company objectives and initiatives.
- Create compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, website, social media, and internal communications.
- Manage media relations, including pitching stories, coordinating interviews, and responding to media inquiries.
- Monitor media coverage and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and industry organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with media relations and managing press inquiries.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
