Love type and layout? So do we.

Do you obsess over every small detail of type and layout? Is the tracking right, is the leading correct, should the text be one pixel larger? If yes, you’re not alone, at Imagemakers we’re also a little obsessive with type and layout.

No coding necessary

Have no fear, at Imagemakers being a designer means just that. In fact, we separate UI design and front-end programming on purpose. We want our designers creating freely without worrying about how something will be coded. Our front-end developers are here to support your design and make it come to life in a pixel-perfect way.

No website templates here

We have zero design restrictions, our front-end development team builds everything from scratch without using an existing framework. Whatever you can dream up (want to animate type in a 3D space? Implement an interactive video? etc), the front-end team can build it to meet your vision exactly.

Wide range of clients, projects and aesthetics

Our clients are located all over the world and range from professional sports teams to flower exporters in South America to Fortune 500 manufacturers to non-profits. Our design team never tires of using the same ‘ol font and imagery styles due to the diversity of projects and clients.

Not just websites

Websites are just a part of the projects our design team gets to work on a day-to-day basis. Our design team works to create UI/UX for the following types of projects:

  • Apps
  • Hotel booking system used by millions
  • Custom cash register systems
  • Large touch screen 3D product configurators
  • Industrial IoT systems
  • Custom eCommerce
  • Financial portals and platforms

Want to work remotely? No problem.

We had employees working remotely even before the pandemic forced us to. So if you like working from home while wearing your slippers, we won’t judge :D. We will provide you with all the necessary work environment tools (computer, monitors, standing desk, office supplies, etc.). And when the pandemic is over, if you’re located nearby and you want to come to the office never or five times a week, it’s all good!

  • Creating high-fidelity mockups (We use Photoshop and Figma, but if you’re into XD, Sketch, Illustrator, or whatever else is out there, that’s fine too)

  • Reviewing your digital solution after the programming phase and ensuring it matches the vision for the project.
  • May be asked to perform other duties as assigned

What’s it like at Imagemakers?

Imagemakers is an award winning creative firm and has been in business for over 15 years. We have a very strong creative and technical team and focus on highly custom web development (desktop and mobile), branding, and high-end video production. In the past, over 98% of our business has been from customer referrals.

For us, it’s not just about clever creative or flashy technology. It’s about solving real problems for our customers and helping them achieve their goals.

We are a small company, which means we all have a big impact. We don't appreciate bureaucracy, rules and regulations that take energy from the true task of creating amazing work. Hours are flexible, with most occurring between 9am and 6pm. You will work closely with our designers, some of the best back end developers you’ve ever seen, our project manager and creative director, clients and vendors. We work with a wide range of industries: from tourism and entertainment, to healthcare, manufacturing, retail and government. The environment is never boring with a lot of group interaction, big picture thinking, and different types of projects.

Our offices are located in a recently renovated late-1800s building in downtown Wamego.

We believe that different people see the world differently, and our job is to communicate with them. To understand their experiences, knowledge and expectations, and provide an amazing experience.

We're looking for someone who believes anything is possible.

Someone who won’t say "That can’t be done."

Someone who believes it's just a matter of figuring it out.

Let's create some amazing things together.
