Impact Media, a UX specialist WordPress only agency are seeking a Digital Project Manager to join our award-winning team in creating bespoke user-focused websites and digital experiences.

RESPONSIBILTIES
The demand for websites and online experiences is growing rapidly. Yet with heavy competition, many agencies simply focus only on look and feel.
We solely work with digital-critical businesses, creating bespoke websites for lead generation, SAAS, eCommerce, integration websites or destination websites such as membership or subscription platforms.
We are an agency built around family and support. We are extremely passionate about creating exceptional digital experiences being that for the end-user, but also for the client too. Everything we do is about the user.
You will be managing a team of 6, reporting back to the management team on the status of projects. You will need strong planning skills, excellent interpersonal communication, client management and experience managing web design & digital marketing projects.
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of web/ eCommerce projects. You will help define the project scope, deliver the project documentation, develop estimates and project plans. You will oversee the delivery and execution process to the highest quality, managing the client alongside the development/design team. You will need to have the ability to set-up and run multiple projects and drive projects to completion.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Deliver high quality, cutting edge web projects on time and on budget
- Supporting the team in implementation of both small and large projects
- We have several projects running at any one time, so you’ll need to juggle multiple tasks without missing deadlines.
- Hold scheduled one to one progress check meetings with each member of staff
- Leading the team to ensure they meet deadlines, keeping the clients up to date throughout the process and quality checking the work that is produced.
- Relaying feedback between the clients and the internal team.
- Managing the performance of team members and quality controlling work that is produced
- Budget & time management of projects and staff time
- Conducting regular team meetings to plan the projects, collaborate client feedback, ensure the work is completed on time and within budget and to a high standard
- Assist in helping to grow the current client base with an active role in the company performance and targets
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in the processes or systems within the department by evaluating the quality of work produced.
- Managing risks and responding quickly to issues as and when they arise
- Hold planning sessions, daily scrums and retrospectives
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to continuously review how we deliver, and show innovation in contributing to the development of our processes
- Providing creative briefs for the design and development team on projects
- Working with directors and account managers on proposals, schedules and budgets.
- Improving processes throughout the company.
- Ensuring key Service Level Agreements are met.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Analytically minded with the ability to think on your feet and co-ordinate many moving parts
- Experienced managing other people’s time effectively
- Well-rounded in understanding of project management frameworks and delivery processes
- Able to work in an Agile environment (is an advantage)
- Very familiar with Kanban & Scrum methodology
- Familiar of Test Driven Development
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
- Highly organised with a strong eye for detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are imperative
- Ability to work under pressure, change direction when required and work on a range of client projects at the same time
- A team player with a confident and can-do attitude
- You are a people person and your written and verbal skills are great.
- You are very organised.
- You can meet budgets and report on them.
- You are client facing and don’t mind meetings / video calls.
- Form strong relationships with the client and develop communication channels between the relevant parties
- Agency experience
- Experience with WordPress / CMS and uploading / managing content.
- Technical competence and understanding of Adobe Photoshop / Sketch, HTML5, HTML and CSS
- Understanding of hosting environments, domains and DNS.
- Experience with Clickup, Harvest, Forecast
DAILY ACTIVITIES
- Managing key client accounts
- Help plan projects from briefing through to delivery
- Liaising and updating stakeholders on the status of projects
Advising clients on cost, available resources, problems and solutions
- Tracking the project deliverables and matching those with agreed deadlines
- Reporting on success criteria for delivered projects by measuring results
