Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Marketing Manager in Cape Town will include:
- Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and generate leads
- Draft compelling website, social, and email content in line with marketing, UX, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
- Develop web pages, marketing landing pages and other web properties with a basic understanding of HTML
- Design and manage paid and organic search strategies, including SEO
- Mature and manage social media channels, including aligning social activity to overall editorial calendar to ensure coordination and integration
- Support development and execution of email marketing and nurture campaigns, including tracking and reporting on analytics to help optimize campaign performance
- Capture, synthesize, and report on analytics to gauge success of digital marketing activities against targets; take action or make recommendations to optimize experience, conversations, engagement, sentiment, etc.
- Keep current on digital and social trends to provide ongoing counsel on best practices to marketing teammates and internal stakeholders
- Digital design – brochure, digital, marketing packs
Requirements for this Digital Marketing Manager job in Cape Town:
- Qualification in Marketing, Digital, Communications, Media, or a related discipline preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience supporting integrated digital Marketing campaigns (social Media/Marketing, web, design, and email)
- Strong web content development and social media marketing writing/communication skills
- Strong grasp of digital marketing best practices across websites, landing pages, social media marketing, email, mobile, banner ads, online video, paid search, SEO, etc. in support of both brand awareness and lead generation campaigns
- Understanding of digital analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights; experience using analytics tools to communicate outcomes and ROI
- Demonstrated understanding and use of major social media marketing platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc. as part of integrated marketing campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML and web-based technologies
- Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress or similar content management systems, and Google Analytics
- Experience working with design tools
