IT Project Manager
Belgrade
Due to a significant expansion of business operations, Inmind is looking for an eligible candidate for the position of IT Project Manager.
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for execution of strategic IT projects, to ensure that they are completed according to timeline, within budget and meeting quality targets. You will be responsible for planning and allocation of project resources, preparation of project budgets, progress monitoring and regular stakeholder communication and reporting. Project Manager shall be expected to apply project management standards, methodologies and best practices to deliver excellent outputs and meet stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex IT projects in terms of scope, timeframes, budget, risks and quality, according to PM methodology
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects - including custom software development, platform migrations, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives
- Define project scope, goals, milestones, resource plans, and risk registers in alignment with PMO frameworks
- Drive project governance: facilitate steering committee meetings, produce status reports, and maintain full project documentation
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors/clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication at all levels
- Implement PM standards, methodologies, processes and tools, ensuring they are consistently applied to all projects
- Managing large cross-functional teams ensuring that project meets business requirements and quality expectations
- Lead and mentor junior PMs and project coordinators within the PMO
- Apply industry best practices, techniques and standards
- Reports directly to Head of PMO and COO
Expected Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 7 years of experience in managing large scale IT projects
- Experience in managing IT projects for both public sector and corporate customers
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and processes, and technical terminology
- Deep command of both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall/Hybrid delivery methodologies, and the judgment to know when to apply which
- Proficiency with PM tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Devops, MS Project or similar
- Hands on experience in PMP or PRINCE2 methodologies
- Experience working within PMO (Project Management Office) - solid understanding of governance, portfolio reporting, and standardized delivery processes
- Excellent organizer, communicator and presenter
- Problem solver, analytical and results driven
- Excellent people manager
- Fluent in Serbian and English
Nice to have:
- Valid certificate in project management PMP, PRINCE2 PRACTITIONER or SCRUM MASTER
- Experience in leading international projects, such as EU, World bank, USAID, IMF funded projects
- Experience and support in presales and sales processes
- Good knowledge of project finances and P&L reports
- Eager to learn and open to give and receive feedback
