Market demand is continuing to drive our significant and rapid growth and we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a busy team providing the management and oversight of our policy affairs function. The role will report to the VP Global Product Marketing.
The individual who joins this high performing team will work with friendly, supportive and highly professional colleagues. Your insights and deliverables will be key components and inputs into other teams’ deliverables. You’ll have the opportunity to pitch big ideas and help to input into our business strategy. You’ll have a critical role in developing our understanding of relevant policies and regulations and at the same time be in a position to influence their evolution.
This is a broad role with radical autonomy which will help iProov achieve our policy objectives. You will help to raise our profile and establish relationships with key policy makers and stakeholders.
The role will include:
- Grow, build and evolve a team specialised in policy and regulatory affairs
- Create a highly structured approach to developing and driving our Policy Affairs function to maximise business opportunity
- Identify, monitor and analyse policy issues affecting Biometrics, Digital Identity and the evolution of remote verification/authentication policies in all key regions - APAC, Europe & North America
- Build and maintain a network and develop relationships with key governmental and industry stakeholders, regional organisations, policy makers and relevant industry bodies across numerous jurisdictions to advance iProov’s policy goals
- Work with senior team and colleagues to develop iProov’s policy positions in briefing papers, consultation responses and internal policy meetings.
- Ensure that insights into and awareness of evolving laws, regulations and industry standards allow us to build and expand our business into the most appropriate markets
- Support ad hoc requests for comment/summary analysis of new regulations or country/regulator level changes
- Advise iProov’s senior team and relevant cross functional teams on relevant policy matters to guide development of products, service and policies
Candidates will need:
- Proven experience in building and leading policy or standards teams within a business context
- Significant experience of managing strategic relationships with diverse set of stakeholders within policy advocacy or in a government role
- Demonstrable focus on outcomes, we are a fast growing customer-centric organisation and we need to understand policy changes and implications as part of our GTM strategy
- Keen understanding of and interest in public policy related to identity
- Degree or advanced degree in related field
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong communicator - able to analyse and turn complex policy materials into simple concepts, understandable to the business
- Experience of people management

- Experienced in working in a matrix model with influence and delivery through both line and program management
- This role would be best suited to an articulate and influential senior professional who wants to spearhead progress within this exciting and growing sector
