We are looking for a Regional Sales Director, who will be responsible for driving deals in the ASEAN market. The ideal candidate will have experience selling complex digital identity (component not SaaS) products and understand how to sell into the Banking, Financial Service and FinTech sectors.
It is a fantastic opportunity to lead the BFSI vertical in the ASEAN territory and be integral to shaping the broader iProov strategy across the region. This role will be based remotely in either Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Manage and run end-to-end sales cycles for the BFSI vertical across ASEAN
- Plan, execute and close deals that provide significant client value, contributing to iProov’s financial and strategic objectives
- Market mapping and researching prospects and their business needs and drivers - building relationships across target customers
- Developing a broad range of contacts through calls, emails, meetings and conferences
- Identify channel partners to assist during sales process
- Partner with iProov colleagues both local and global to ensure account growth
- Prospect, forecast, build and maintain a sales pipeline with Sales Development Representatives
- Community engagement - becoming a subject matter expert, able to expand your network by representing iProov in your target industry sectors
- Developing lasting, positive and productive relationships with iProov’s clients - securing referrals and testimonials that lead to new business opportunities.

We tend to look for people with:
- Excellent communicator, able to articulate and present well in front of both technical, commercial and executive level stakeholders
- Extensive demonstrable experience selling enterprise software and winning new logos in BFSI in multiple countries across ASEAN (4-5 countries)
- Active participation leading and coordinating RFP/RFQ responses
- Proven track record of successfully closing six and seven figure multi-year software licensing deals with BFSI prospects and customers across ASEAN
- You have a measurable track record in new business development and over-achieving sales targets
- Experience of Digital Identity in some form (biometrics is a nice-to-have) with an ability to adapt in a fast-growing and changing environment
- Strong awareness of cultural differences when conducting business across ASEAN
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative self-starter who enjoys working within scale up environments, who is looking to achieve the remarkable and make a difference
Desirable to enable a fast start:
- Existing strong relationships and a great reputation among customers within relevant industries and enterprise customers
- Existing knowledge of the ID verification, AML or KYC market
- Competitor product awareness and insight
- Multilingual skills with at least one additional language - Bahasa (Malay or Indonesia) or Mandarin would be beneficial
