Jobs at ITPEnergised
BEFORE WE BEGIN...
LOCATION: Much of our ongoing and forecasted workload for this role is in Scotland and therefore our preference is for a candidate that would be attached to our Glasgow or Edinburgh office. However, we are big believers in flexible working, and that includes working from home. We have offices in Edinburgh. Glasgow, London and Bristol, and we are happy to talk about hybrid working patterns.
OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS: We won't make you jump through hoops or present to the Board - we prefer to keep things simple.
We have a relaxed approach to getting to know each other - an initial chat to talk through your CV, followed by a more structured interview with the line manager you'll be working with. We are being interviewed just as much as you, so we welcome your questions!
We believe passionately in the world’s transition to net zero. Our global coverage, international specialists and ‘trusted advisor’ approach have earned us an outstanding reputation with clients across sectors, technologies, and geographies.
This role is highly important in ensuring the business continues to thrive and grow, always with a view to our passionate aspiration of supporting the world’s transition to net zero. As with any role in the business, there will be a requirement for adaptability and flexibility, with an emphasis on our core values:

Background to the opportunity
As part of our ongoing development, we are now seeking to complement our existing Geology, Peat & Hydrology team with an experienced professional. Working with our existing team of environmental consultants, you will support, manage, and deliver committed projects and contribute to the development of ITPEnergised’s related offering, commensurate to your grade and experience. Our team integrates geology and hydrology professionals; however we are primarily seeking candidates with a strong background in geology and peat assessments, particularly in onshore renewables, including the reporting of relevant EIA technical appendices (peat landslide hazard and risk assessment and peat management plans). It would be advantageous if candidates have some grounding in undertaking hydrological and hydrogeological assessments, including outline flood risk assessment.
