Key Objectives
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Support financial reporting and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions including sales, expenses, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date bookkeeping files and documentation.
- Collaborate with external accountants and auditors as needed.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records promptly.
- Utilize accounting software to input and manage financial data efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the cosmetics or retail industry.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
