Your Job
As the Accounting Systems Implementer, you are expected to have a deep knowledge of accounting and modern accounting software. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical understanding, excellent communication and social skills, and is deeply passionate about delivering quality results to our clients.
In this role, you will be expected to lead and execute projects including:
- Accounting software conversions - Projects include reviewing current books and making recommendations for cleanup, executing on those recommendations, and managing a conversion process.
- Project Management - To guide the software conversions, or new implementations, you’ll need the skill sets to not only determine what needs to be done, but be the driving force behind execution and implementation
- Accounting advisory - Projects include:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform non-tax audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Utilize software automation to create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management teams
- Perform basic bookkeeping and GL maintenance
- Provide a qualified opinion for financial system development best practices
The right candidate for this role would be an outgoing and passionate customer service advocate with a strong attention to detail. The candidate will need to be able to manage multiple projects and keep them progressing forward while coordinating with other team members for deliverables. Having an understanding of the total business process - from estimating through cash collection - and having knowledge in how operations impact accounting and software use is a key to success. Candidates should be well versed quickly and efficiently using modern technology. This role is perfect for a dynamic self-starter with strong analytical skills who has experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. There will be no tax preparation at all as part of this role.
Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Background in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience required. Public Accounting experience preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online, and (preferably) Sage/Zoho Books.
- Ability to lead projects and see them through to their completion with detailed communication along the way.
- Experience in software development, project management, or planning preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing and ERP systems preferred.
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong sense of personal accountability.
- Superior verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in Allentown, PA office or in US home office
