Your Job

As a Senior Technology Consultant, you will join our team of expert developers, designers, financial managers, and technical support staff to work directly with clients to provide advisory work on implementation, change management, opportunity enlargement, issue resolution, and quality control. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing client relationships as well as focusing on new ones that drive value. In addition, you will lead our IT Help Desk to provide excellent customer service, resolve all technical issues, and improve their efficiency. You will also be expected to work on our IT Help Desk solving client issues. You must have experience in technology implementation, leadership, project management, and sales. 


In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Lead the operations of the IT Help Desk to ensure client satisfaction across several different business lines
  • Maintain and enforce strict quality management and project management practices
  • Ensure high-quality customer IT Help Desk operations at all times by managing and leading the team to achieve a positive customer experience for all IT Help Desk interactions
  • Improve the consistency, efficiency and quality of the operations.
  • Work directly with clients on the IT Help Desk and onsite to understand needs, opportunities, and resolve their issues.
  • Perform site assessments inclusive of hardware, software, and data needs gathering.
  • Stay current in emerging IT Help Desk trends and best practices to make informed recommendations
  • Establish best practices through the entire technical support process
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reports that measure performance to established KPIs
  • Develop, maintain, and grow client relationships with a focus on delivering value
  • Work with more junior team members to help develop their skill sets


Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in an MSP environment
  • Experience in network administration, help desk operations, software development
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or better required
  • Exceptional problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills required
  • Ability to work with clients and resolve their specific technology issues.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use independent judgement and take personal initiative
  • Superior verbal and written communication
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to maintain focus over an extended period
  • Ability to work in Allentown, Pa office
