Mailvio (www.mailvio.com) is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to help reach more people and grow our business ethically.
This is a fully remote, full-time position in a team working from different parts of the world including the Philippines, and Eastern Europe, Europe and other places. It doesn’t matter in which time zone you are currently based in or even if you move around (various of our team members are digital nomads!). As long as you make it to our daily meetings which are a must to attend.
KVSocial (parent company) has an informal culture and we don't care if you work in a suite or in your pyjamas. We encourage digital nomadism and a good work-life balance. We offer special bonus programs and other incentives like Blinkist access.
Mailvio is an autoresponder (like Active Campaign/Mailchimp), and we help product creators, and affiliate marketers, do better email marketing, affordably. More than just a tool, mailvio presents a vision where we educate our prospects to help them improve their email marketing. A combination of practical education and tool makes us an effective combination. We opened to public in November 2019, and till date have secured over $150k ARR. Our aim in 2020 is to get up to $500k ARR.

Your working day will start out by executing top #3 things for the day that will enable our growth. Then you will look at results from activities done before today, and evaluate the best way forward. You will end up wearing a LOT of hats in this role, and you will grow a team around you. So we absolutely need someone with can do attitude who wants to make a big impact.
As a business development manager, you will be responsible for daily (light) and weekly (detailed) updates to the CEO and the CTO. Once (or twice depending on your availability), you will meet with the CEO to suggest plans and give updates on performance; but on most other days you'll continue to build and refine new funnels, ads and marketing campaigns to grow sales.
Initially, you will have a support staff, designer and affiliate manager at your disposal (limited availability, not full time). You are expected to steer the ship and make decisions. So "get it done" attitude is critical.
This is a performance-focused role, and we are looking to work with someone who feels compelled to go above and beyond even their own expectations. We believe in breaking down barriers and limiting beliefs, and that's what you'll be doing - day in and day out.

We are looking for a high-quality team member who would eventually replace the current CEO. We have milestones set for this, which can be discussed later in the interview process. Given the nature of the role, you will also end up meeting the CEO 2-3 times an year.
This is a performance-focused position. Failure to perform means you are out (simple as that!)
You will be paid flat $1,500 per month, along with a 5% per sale bonus.
Case in point: Since November (writing this in February). we have generated over $250,000 in direct sales. And another $50,000 in indirect sales with Mailvio. 5% of that is $15,000. So along with $1,500 per month salary, you would have made an extra $15,000 in these 3+ months. We don't ALWAYS hit these numbers, but it all comes down to what kind of growth you execute.
You make your own hours, work as much or little as you want, as long as you are hitting MoM growth. We are a young company with a great future ahead, and we need someone who is focused on growth, rather than a paycheck.
Once we hit active $25k MRR, you will be offered the role of the CEO along with a few perks that go with it. That also means long term equity in the company, and profit-sharing instead of per sale incentive.
A fully distributed company with 10+ people strong team from all over the world. Run by a CEO and CTO, both frequent travelers (so-called digital nomads).
We have big plans and we are looking for somebody to join us in our mission. We are self-funded (bootstrapping). We have a bonus program (for long term employees), we provide a lot of freedom (determine your own work hours), work with agile (kanban) method and our main tools are Asana (project management), Teamrack (intranet made by ourselves with slack like system).
