Licensed Practical Nurse at Lifeline Staffing Agency

PER DIEM
Hourly Pay:  $33/hr

We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for our patients with compassion and one who can facilitate their speedy recovery.

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements and Responsibilities:

Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
Provides routine care for patients.
Observes patients’ health.
Reviews medical charts.
Accompanies patients to their rooms.
Assists physicians and registered nurses.
Communicates with patients and their families.
Administers medications.
Provides wound care.
Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
Assists with patient comfort.
Monitors catheters.

Requirements

Proven experience as a licensed practical nurse.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them always.
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible and compassionate.
Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Graduate from a nursing program.
A valid nursing license.
