Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support our clients in their daily personal care needs. This position is essential in ensuring our clients maintain their dignity and quality of life while receiving assistance in a comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behaviour to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and their families.
• Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to lift and assist clients who require physical support.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

Nice to have

• Experience working with patients with specific medical conditions such as dementia or mobility issues.
• Additional certifications in health and safety or related fields.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
