We are recruiting for a number of different teaching assistant roles in and around Bristol. We are looking for TA with music or performing arts background to support children with their learning that can use extra curriculum activities to aid children's personal and emotional development.  This is a fantastic opportunity if you experience working with children and have some experience working in a secondary school. We offer a competitive rate of £90-£100 per day depending on experience.


 

What the client is looking for
 

As a teaching assistant you need to be adaptable, personable and have a hands on approach. You need to demonstrate that you have a caring and empathetic nature. We are not just looking for someone who has experience, but someone who has a genuine passion for working with children and isn’t afraid to get stuck in!
 

Within the role you will:

 

  • Making sure all resources the children may need are available
  • Supporting learning in the classroom, 1:1 and small groups
  • Ensuring the students uphold the school behaviour policies and values 
  • Aiding the children with pastoral care
