SEMH Teacher (KS1)

A specialist primary school in Swindon, is looking for a SEMH Class Teacher for Key Stage 1, to start ASAP until the end of the academic year on a fixed term contract. Pay rate is £140 - £170 per day.

This is a small school that aims to give key, emotional support to each and every student. The needs of the students are social, emotional and mental health needs ranging from ages 4 to 11. This school is focused on meeting each child's educational and emotional needs through utilising small class sizes and a high adult-to-pupil ratio. The school uses varied types of learning approaches and therapy rooms to help support each child.

Each student requires a different approach due to their needs, keeping in mind the young age of the children. A caring nature would be essential for this role to ensure each child gets the best possible support and feels comfortable in their environment. A SEMH teacher would need to be understanding and patient with each child, and take possible alternative approaches to their learning.

If you want a role where you can deliver your knowledge and passion for making a real difference, this could be the perfect role for you.
