Are you passionate about supporting children’s development in a nurturing and inclusive environment? A welcoming primary school in South Gloucestershire is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.

Your New Role


 

In this role, you’ll make a significant impact by supporting a pupil on a 1 to 1 basis who has SEMH needs. You will need to be someone with a lot of patience and encouragement. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for named children with Educational Health Care Plans.
  • Implement effective strategies to encourage positive behaviour and learning outcomes.
  • Assist with day-to-day learning, both in class and during personal development activities.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
