Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our cybersecurity initiatives at Marion Counseling Services. This position is pivotal in safeguarding our systems and data against emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive information.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of security awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into all aspects of the organisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to security threats.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and technologies.
