Your Role:

As Site Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing all operational and strategic activities at our state-of-the-art facility. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team spanning Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and HR, ensuring seamless coordination with our global functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership, aligning site objectives with corporate goals.
  • Oversee manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and safety functions to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to aerospace regulations including AS9100, ISO 9001, and other industry standards.
  • Manage site budgeting, financial targets, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and high performance across the site.
  • Serve as the primary site representative for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and execute workforce planning and leadership development strategies to retain top talent.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to safeguard business continuity and operational resilience.

 

 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ leadership experience in an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in site leadership, operational management, and strategic execution.
  • Deep understanding of mission-critical safety systems and aerospace industry regulations.
  • Experience in a matrix organisation, managing direct and indirect reporting structures.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L, budgets, and cost control.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A visionary leader who can inspire cross-functional teams and drive innovation.

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and compliance.
