We are looking for an experienced and inspired People Ops Manager who is passionate about building upon a culture that attracts the most talented people and offers them a place to grow and flourish. You’ll develop and execute strategies that maximize the value and motivation of our staff whilst nurturing and developing our culture and environment.
In this role you’ll need to be an exceptional communicator that connects with a highly creative multidisciplinary multinational team and manages all aspects related to People Ops whilst being capable of proposing and implementing progressive new ideas that put a holistic view of business and people at the fore. Your responsibilities will include:
· Maintain and build upon a culture that attracts the most talented people and offers them a place to grow and flourish.
· Proactively engage with our team and make a real connection with them. Develop and foster partnerships at all levels of the company.
· Lead the development of our People Ops roadmap by creating a strategic and collaborative process that highly values conversation with our people.
· Develop and implement holistic policy that balances the company’s business needs, team culture, values and people to achieve our goals.
· Proactively build upon the foundations of our existing People Ops policy and structure. Create, propose and implement frameworks and structures that uphold and encourage company values whilst proposing inspired and progressive ideas with the potential to further improve quality of life, team motivation, engagement, morale and business results.
· Utilize your expertise in People Ops to act as a sounding board at all levels of the company. You’re able to provide excellent, informed and balanced advice, whilst using strategic thinking and problem solving skills to propose what should be acted upon and how.
· Talent Acquisition process. Manage and refine the search, recruitment, interview and onboarding process. Optimise our ability to reach out to and attract the strongest globally competitive talent and retain them.
· Day to day and routine operational activities. Highly developed organizational skills will be needed to oversee and manage essential People Ops systems and procedures including management of the software system and its related real world processes and actions. You are able to operate from Macro to Micro.
As a successful candidate, you would have:
· A genuine interest in games, the game business, game development or experience working in relevant creative industries. You likely have an interest consuming news on games and may know or have researched how game development works.
· Exceptional communication and relationship building and management skills.
· Accomplished written and spoken English.
· Expertise in facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution and mitigation.
· Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational, documentation and presentation skills.
· You’re a well rounded person with the ability to relate to a diverse multinational group of people.
· In the region of 5 - 7 years’ experience in the same capacity.
