Mobile Testing Solutions Ltd (“MTS”) is a global exam service provider for a variety of exam boards which also has an online exam preparation school.

MTS is currently looking for IT Technician(s) to provide ad-hoc technical support on software, hardware and networking at its Cardiff venue on a casual zero-hours contract basis.

Job Details: 

• Casual Zero-hours on weekdays and/or weekends
• Salary: £17.40 per hour (including holiday pay of 12.07%)
• Location: Office-based role, at Cardiff – CF10 1AT
• Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Start date: Immediate start

What you will be doing:

• Provide Level 1 (and occasionally L2) IT Support in preparation and operations of existing and new exams
• Check/maintain network switches and cabling (when required - occasionally)
• Get involved in the preparation, installation, and decommission of Pop-up/temporary sites (if required occasionally)
• Carry IT equipment and rearrange the test rooms (when required)
• Participate in IT Projects wherever needed

This role would suit someone who is looking for flexible part-time work. On average, you will be required for 2 – 3 days work each month but there will be an opportunity to join other part-time roles (test administrator, office admin roles) within the company.
