We are looking to add a new salesperson to our team, to help us book more course development projects for our eLearning agency.
Your role will be to take inbound calls from prospects interested in discussing our services. You will give them a demo / presentation, show them how online courses can help grow their business, suggest the right type of service package for them and show them how it would work, and close them by getting them to sign the service agreement to book the project, and scheduling the start date of the project.
Having sales experience is less important in this case than having the right kinds of personality characteristics which determine if you will be a good fit for this role.
You should be:
- Helpful and assertive, but not pushy
- Really good about following up and staying on top of prospective clients until they give a clear yes or no
- Good at creatively overcoming potential objections and redirecting the conversation if they are very interested but start throwing out reasons why they "want to do this, but probably should wait until next year" etc
- Able to work with our project manager to help generate quotes, estimates, and contracts, in cases where it's a customized project
- Able to quickly learn the ins and outs of our service (course development, and course marketing) and industry well enough to communicate effectively with top tier professionals in various industries, and walk them through how it can help their particular business
If you think you can rock this position, send over a proposal and we will set up a 1-2 sales call test to see how you do (we will send you documentation about how the calls go, and recordings of past sales calls, to review and get familiar with first)
Compensation for this position will be paid hourly for the initial test, and then from there if you succeed with the test, we will extend and offer for a long-term position, with commission-based pay. The rate attached to this listing refers to the commission for an average project
Starts part-time at $25 per demo call (our target is to do 15-20 of these per week, total, and you'd start with about 8-10 per week)
Note: final compensation dependent on experience and the final scope of work associated with your role, as we match the various needs our organization has with your particular skill sets.

We are looking for someone to help us grow this company in a long-term position. We are rapidly growing (approximately 100% growth per year) and we hope that you will grow with us.
This is a part-time position, at least to start. If things go well, this can become a full-time opportunity within 3-6 months, depending on performance.
Based out of Buffalo, Wyoming, but this is a remote position.

Monetize Your Expertise (aka MYE) is a course production company - we create online courses and training for people and companies by doing all of the heavy lifting for them. Rather than running in circles for 6-12 months or more, trying to figure out how to build an online course, we do it for them. It only ends up taking a few hours of their time, and the result is world-class!
All our clients have to do is show up on a series of interview calls with us, and then take a few hours to record the audio from an outline we provide to them, and we do the rest. It takes them about 25 hours total (instead of 12 months) and we do all the work outlining their course, incorporating any other materials they might have, creating slides, worksheets, quizzes and more, editing the videos into a finished course, setting it all up onto a learning management system (LMS) and marketing the course to generate revenue for them.

If your primary focus is getting this position just to make money, then this probably isn’t a great fit (there are certainly faster and easier ways to make a quick buck - it's more about happiness, impact and doing something great).
However, if you are interested in learning a ton, doing great work, working with super cool people and serving extremely interesting and varied clients (while also being compensated), then this is for you.
We are a team of people who all deeply care about doing good work, helping each other, and helping our clients. The work style of the team is pretty independent - we make sure everyone has what they need to do a great job and then everyone goes off and does deep work.
