Job Description:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Loader to join our warehouse team. The Loader will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods onto and off of transport vehicles. This role is crucial in ensuring that our deliveries are completed on time and that our products arrive at their destinations in perfect condition.
Responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from trucks and trailers, ensuring that products are handled with care to prevent damage.
Product Handling: Use appropriate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products and materials around the warehouse.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment, including proper lifting techniques and the use of safety equipment.
Warehouse Maintenance: Help keep the loading area clean and organized, disposing of waste materials properly and maintaining equipment in good working order.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and drivers to coordinate the efficient loading and unloading of shipments.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a loading, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and careful handling of products to prevent damage during loading and unloading.
Teamwork: Ability to work well as part of a team, with good communication skills and a cooperative attitude.
Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
