As an Event Sales Executive at native, you’ll be playing a key role in helping manage the sales pipeline, bringing in new deals and closing them alongside the Events team. You’ll have at least three years under your belt working within the sales department of an events business and have a strong base of knowledge in the industry. After a couple of fallow years, events are back; the team at Native are hitting the ground running, already developing with huge plans to meet, what we know will be a tidal wave of demand.

 

The ideal candidate for this role should have demonstrable experience in a junior sales role, with experience and/or knowledge of the events industry considered highly desirable. You’ll feel comfortable for the difference stages of a sales pipeline and have driving new leads and sales in a previous role and well as be proficient at dealing with contracts and invoicing.

What you'll be doing 

 

This is full time, Mon-Fri, and need to be within easy commutable distance from our office in Old St, London. We are very flexible on remote working, but this will require IRL visits to clients and campaigns, and office get togethers. 


What you'll be doing

  • Working with the Head of Events to manage the sale pipeline 
  • Liaising directly with our clients and external agencies to broker deals 
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Present our Event Services in the best way possible
  • Respond to incoming enquiries
  • Feed buying trends back to the team
     

Your Experience

  • At least 3 years experience in a sales role
  • Experience in the events industry is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Track record of creative problem solving & process improvement
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong instincts on trends within the student and youth market 
  • Experience managing multiple projects and balancing priorities
