Navtech Radar is looking for a technician to join the New Product Introduction (NPI) team.  In this new role you will be supporting the NPI team in a range of activities - all with the aim of allowing us to get our exciting products developed quicker.

 

The role will be reporting to the Senior NPI Engineer in the R&D team and will be fixed term for a period of 6 months

This role is based within  our R and D team in our in the picturesque village of Ardington, South Oxfordshire.  These offices are within an easy commute from areas of Reading, Swindon, Newbury and Oxford.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Technician support for R&D projects, including Parts picking and updating computer systems to ensure BOM's (Bill of materials) are correct
  • Trial unit builds
  • Organise and maintain the testing area
  • Setup testing and upgrade as required
  • Analysis and maintenance of Parts database for obsolescence management, ROHS and Reach Compliance

Experience of radar technology is not necessary, as full product specific training will be provided.
