Project Managers at NEWMEDIA are responsible for managing multiple client projects across multiple production teams within our highly optimized systems and processes.
Project Managers are key players in ensuring that projects are successfully completed given the constraints of timeline, budget, personnel, and materials. Ultimately, we want every engagement to be a win-win for the company and the client, and the Project Manager’s performance will directly impact that goal.

Roles and Responsibilities
- You will manage several projects at once. We are looking for someone with experience in website design and development project management. This role will require a talent that can hit the ground running from day one so knowledge of WordPress and Shopify are essential. Knowing a bit of design would be advantageous.
- We are a small internal team with several outside contractors. We all work very closely and easily with each other and are looking for a person who can jump right in with previous knowledge but also be open to learning new processes and/or tools and methods.
Below is a general overview of the position. - Manage day-to-day operational aspects of dozens of projects while working with both internal and contract team members.
- Experience with Shopify and Wordpress a must as these are the bedrock of a lot of client projects.
- Direct design and development teams and keep within time and dollar budget.
- Assist with the creation and execution of project plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Conduct frequent check-ins with all clients and internal stakeholders. Communicate progress, demonstrate the operations of web products, and collect feedback.
- Manage project budget, monitor for overages, and advise client and internal stakeholders on impending budgetary events.
- Identify resources needed to complete individual tasks in conjunction with other key members of teams.
- Work effectively and efficiently with team members in other departments, including but not limited to: Sales, Project Managers, Design, and Development.
- Provide the team with full updates on your meetings with clients. This will include explaining deliverables and expected deadlines in detail.
- Attendance and Participation in project meetings, and reviews.
- Create and maintain a deliverables timeline calendar for the Project Team.
- Manage quality control of all deliverables.
- Update Clockify & Asana for assignments and check for logged time
- Manage contractor hours. Ensure their tasks are accounted for and logged.
- Maintain whiteboard for yourself and some team members.
- Prepare before client meetings to ensure quality communication of deliverables and to answer questions. Take notes on all client meetings to be shared with client and internal team.
- Constant communication with Account Executive and CEO so that all parties are in the loop of progress.
- Work with other Project Managers on some projects as well as Project Coordinators.
