We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our client's growing development team and take their software to the next level. You will be part of an Agile team using the latest and greatest technologies and tools to build new features from (start to finish!) and support and improve existing features. Reporting to one of the Software Development Managers, the Sr. Software Developer designs, develops and tests new and existing modules of the company's SaaS suite and contributes to coaching and up-levelling our Software Development team members.

What you’ll do:
- Develop new capabilities for our client-facing web & mobile apps and APIs
- Provide technical leadership to the development team, including coaching, pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with our Product and Design teams to ensure our UI is polished, with industry-leading accessibility and usability
- Help the Scrum team to continually evolve and improve our Agile processes
- Dive into our existing applications to understand how they work, and resolve any emerging issues
Requirements
Who we’re looking for:
Must have:
- Several years’ experience developing complex web applications using modern technology stacks
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, coupled with an enthusiasm for getting to the root of hard problems
- Ability and desire to coach, mentor, knowledge-share, and contribute to levelling up more junior team members
- Understanding of web security and web authentication methods such as OAuth and claims-based authentication
- Solid SQL skills
Nice to have:
- Previous experience integrating with 3rd party authentication services
- Familiarity with web content accessibility guidelines
- Experience with Payroll or Human Capital Management software an asset
- Well-rounded DevOps and Cloud platform skills – bonus points if you’ve worked in Azure before
- Enjoys a good table top or video game a bonus!
