Sales Manager
About the Opportunity
OneCoWork is seeking a Sales Manager to help lead sales efforts in the Barcelona. The Sales Manager will work directly with the CEO and other stakeholders to drive revenue growth in Barcelona.
The Sales Manager is responsible for attracting and executing deals with new customers, as well as maintaining close relationships with existing clients in order to maximize both new revenue growth as well as minimizing churn. You will have the ability to coach those around you into a successful sales mindset, and drive an organizational shift towards a sales closing mentality.
You will need experience in sales and complex contract negotiations; preferably experience setting up sales teams from scratch; you will need to be a story-teller who can help potential clients understand the value OneCoWork brings; and you will need to be a true team player.
Key Responsibilities
This role has two main areas of responsibility:
1. Direct Sales, including:
- Taking responsibility for the full sales cycle for <50 pax offices with new and renewing members. This directly involves sourcing, pitching, touring, negotiating, and executing contracts.
- Working with the C-Team on sales for the full sales cycle for 50 pax + offices with new and renewing members
- Generating new sales pipeline for buildings, including through independent efforts
- Meeting or improving upon the agreed sales quota through strategic account management, external networking, and use of company resources
- Deal structuring: creatively structure deals to optimize sales outcomes while understanding how different deal structures can effectively contribute to OneCoWork performance objectives
- Closing Meeting Room deals always ensuring that maximum response times are strictly adhered to.
2. Strategic Sales Management, including:
- Executing sales plans and coordinate sales efforts focusing on new customer revenue
- Ensuring data excellence by taking full control of data input to the CRM for all products, as well as ensuring that other team members are correctly trained and are correctly inputting CRM data
- Weekly and monthly reporting alongside the Marketing department including on forecasting, pipeline development, conversion rates.
- Continuously implement best practices to always improve pipeline creation, conversion rates, forecasting accuracy, and reporting accuracy.
- Always focus on member experience, working with the Community Team to ensure that all key accounts are getting the full OneCoWork experience.
- Collaborate with our Design Team to help with the layout of new spaces based on experiences with customer demand.
- Maintain strong relations with stakeholders across departments, especially Marketing, in order to ensure the attraction of qualified leads.
- Manage all high value transactions, from initial contact to contract signature.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge the different OneCoWork products and suggest ways to adapt the product to new market trends.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably at least 2 years of sales management experience
- Experience with Hubspot preferable
- Working proficiency / fluency in both Spanish and English is essential
- Local market knowledge: 2+ years living in Barcelona is a strong plus
- Track record in establishing effective relationships with key decision-makers
- A real leader who genuinely enjoys using their ability to inspire others
- Independent problem solver who can translate high level objectives into actionable plans without being micromanaged.
- Demonstrated ability to focus on continuing improvement across functions, including training the team, creating new, more efficient processes and systems.
- Data driven, with experience in generation of detailed qualitative and quantitative reporting.
Compensation Structure
- The compensation structure for this role is shared between a competitive fixed base (amount will be dependent on the seniority of the final candidate) as well as a variable structure based on performance.
