WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a high-impact role where you’ll be working on projects that will be visible to clients and accelerate the growth of the company. On a given day you’ll work on:

• Our embedded javascript widget
• Our rails monolith. Adding new APIs or adding to the portal application
• Integrating with our third-party APIs that are used to run the business
• Background jobs to perform asynchronous actions like calling APIs, generating reports, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Proficient in Ruby on Rails
• Experience as a full-stack developer using an MVC framework and building JSON APIs
• Modern javascript experience (node, npm/yarn, etc)
• Experience with monoliths/distributed architectures and scaling systems
• Comfortable using dashboards (DataDog, New Relic) to diagnose performance issues
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the whole tech stack - language, databases, web servers, and system environment
• Experience implementing in Ruby, Javascript, Java, or other object-oriented languages.
• Take a project from scoping requirements through production launch

• Early-stage startup
