The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused person to join our pension transfers squad within our Operations team. You'll be part of a busy eight-person Operations team.
Our Operations team is the glue that holds the business together, sitting at the intersection of sales, product & marketing.
The transfers squad handles all of the complex behind-the-scenes processes, customer communications and communication with other pension providers that allow customers to get their old pension pots transferred to Penfold!
This is a new squad within our Operations team so we are constantly working on improving and optimising our processes - the responsibilities within this role will keep adapting as we optimise and grow!
This role will be dedicated to the customer service we provide to help customers get their pension transfers completed and keep them informed along the way. Ensuring customers are supported and informed when completing their pension transfers is pivotal for our business success and one of our key focuses!

Our Office
We’re a remote-first business, although we have a large private office in London. We are currently hiring our first four new team members in Cluj, so initially this role will be remote based. Therefore, you must have a suitable setup for working from home, which means a good internet connection, and a suitable environment to take calls and focus on your work. We will provide you with equipment to help get you set up; this may be a desk, screen, office chair, and headphones.
However, the plan once we have the right team in place is to have a second private office in Cluj. Therefore, you must be based within Cluj and be available to attend an office from time to time (once we progress to this stage).
We will provide expenses for any travel to the UK and would like you to visit at least every 6 months for our company get-togethers. These are great opportunities to get to know your colleagues, form strong relationships and have fun!
