We are very well funded and backed by some of the world’s most successful FinTech investors. We started by launching a simple and flexible pension for the self-employed last year, now have thousands of active customers and are growing fast. 

We’ve had huge success with digital advertising managed by a third party but now want a full time, Head of Performance Marketing to join our team and lead the efforts to help us go from thousands, to hundreds of thousands of customers. 

You will:

  • Take full ownership of our digital performance channels; predominantly google & facebook right now. On a day to day basis you’ll tweak and optimise these platforms to maximise our ROI, managing £100k+ monthly budgets.
  • Own the whole digital performance funnel, helping our creative team come up with & launch the right ad copy, creative, and landing pages to maximise paid opportunities.
  • Constantly be reviewing the data on the platforms themselves, google analytics, fullstory, mixpanel & our own dashboards to spot problems & opportunities in the funnel.
  • Be regularly coming up with new ideas on how to grow our users using digital/performance, including testing other social/search platforms, and trialling other performance channels like affiliate marketing, partnerships, etc

About you:

  • 4-8 Years of digital / performance management experience in an agency or in house at a fast growing B2C business
  • Strong data/analytical background; you’re very comfortable with excel, naturally numerate, and an expert and interrogating data love & understanding quickly what is/isn’t working, then adjusting and delivering a strategy. You love delving into funnel analysis to see where we’re losing customers or what’s caused a drop in activations. Bonus: SQL Experience.
  • Strong communicator: You’re comfortable presenting your findings & plans to C-Suite / Board level operators & enjoy being (constructively!) challenged on your conclusions.
  • Extensive experience & up to date knowledge of best practice for leading performance platforms (Google, FB etc). Bonus: Familiar with other platforms
  • A self starter: Everyone says it, but in a fast growing scale-up, its vitally important. We’re an incredibly supportive team and you’ll get lots of founder face time, but you’ll likely be the in-house expert on performance marketing and need to be comfortable as the source of momentum for this area of our growth.
  • Bonus: Experience optimising landing pages, planning SEO strategies, and wider non digital performance channels (Direct mail, etc)

Location 
Pre COVID we all worked from a private office at Uncommon Borough, a large co-working space full with all the perks and more plants than a garden centre. Post-covid – we still have that office! You are welcome to work there anytime you like, and we do all try to get together once a month (lockdown allowing..), but other than that, we’re a remote first company and you’re free to work from home. (We’ll buy you all the kit & furniture you need to be successful).
