🤑 Competitive salary - £40-50k OTE (depending on experience) with uncapped commissions.

What we are looking for:
You will be one of the first SDRs in the team at Penfold. To be clear, we are still a startup and although we have some key processes in place there is so much that can be built, and you will be part of this.
Your role will be to perform the usual SDR things you expect from a tech startup which are:
⦁ Take responsibility for lead generation through a mix of cold outreach, LinkedIn, and some warm outreach with the help of marketing leads.
⦁ Keep a tidy CRM, and make sure you qualify the meetings for the Account Executive team.
⦁ Take ownership of the pipeline generation. Your team is expected to build around 45% of the total sales pipeline.
Some essential skills and experience that could help you succeed in this position:
You don't need to have done all of this before. If you feel you are the right person for the job, apply. We value your personality, drive and passion. And most skills we can train!
⦁ Have worked in a sales or SDR function before.
⦁ Have experience in a startup or scale-up sales team.
⦁ Are comfortable with cold calling, and dealing with objections.
⦁ Consider yourself as a high-activity salesperson, and have the track record to prove it!
⦁ Have worked with our current tech stack - Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Nav, Cognism, AirCall, and Jiminny.
⦁ You are trying to enter into Fintech or sales for the first time and have the right attitude for the job!
⦁ Have a genuine interest in Penfold.
Our application process
We’ll have a very quick introductory call to properly introduce you to Penfold, find out more about your experience so far and career aspirations, and make sure you get a chance to ask any questions you might have.
The next stage would be a technical exercise/task which is done over a video call at a time that suits you and lasts for approximately 90 minutes.
Finally, we’ll organize a session with a founder, and a few team members, so that you get a chance to meet some of the team.
