About us

Based our Marylebone Head Office, the role would offer some flexibility to work remotely in line with business needs.

 

The role in summary

The Head of Marketing will oversee all marketing and communications activities for Pockit, setting the strategy and deploying all execution. This is a highly impactful role that will lead the full stack of marketing to achieve our growth targets - product marketing, brand marketing, growth marketing, CRM, partnerships, PR. They will work in deep partnership with the product team to take new products and features to market, and drive growth, customer loyalty and engagement. This lead will drive brand strategy for Pockit as the finance app that serves “the many.” 

 

Key performance indicators will include customer acquisition (full funnel work) driving to an agreed LTV:CAC, brand health metrics, engagement (in channel & in-app in partnership with product team), and retention. This is a new role within Pockit, and the leader will have the opportunity to hire and build the marketing function and take Pockit into its next phase of growth.

Day to day overview;

  • Set the vision and strategy for Marketing across product, growth, brand, CRM, and partnerships and oversee the execution of all marketing activities. Experience with subscriptions is a plus. 
  • Develop value proposition & messaging frameworks, driving the articulation of Pockit’s product portfolio to identified target audiences.   
  • Collaborate with the wider teams to develop audience needs, messaging, tone of voice, and overall creative development ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints
  • Own knowledge about customer personas and help the product team and the wider business to understand the implications for their areas
  • Lead and develop a team of marketers, agency partners and cross-functional teams to bring in new customers to Pockit
  • Work closely with the Data and Product leadership team to make well-informed decisions on go-to-market strategy & execution
  • Identify and track success metrics for the marketing team and its impact on the business
  • Manage the marketing budget, deploying capital against high-impact activities that deliver against core business objectives

 

What we need from you;

  • Experience leading a product (consumer) marketing team with a passion for mentoring.
  • Background in consumer tech products (inc mobile apps) within a complex ecosystem; startup and/or finance experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record will full stack of marketing - product, brand, growth - and ability to coach people and agencies to meet Pockit’s goals
  • Experience and understanding of marketing metrics and data 
  • Expertise in crafting impactful messages, critiquing creative approaches
