We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to manage our company’s mail and package distribution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence while maintaining a well-organized mailroom.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments or individuals.
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, including letters, packages, and courier shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of mailroom activities, including tracking incoming and outgoing items.
- Operate office equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and printers.
- Assist with inventory and supply orders for mailroom materials.
- Ensure mailroom cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with external courier services and delivery personnel.
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding mail or package deliveries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 30 pounds.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
