We’re seeking a proactive and organized Mailroom Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth handling of mail and packages, maintaining efficiency and accuracy in our mailroom operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to departments or employees.
- Prepare, process, and send outgoing mail, ensuring proper postage and timely delivery.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and mailroom activity.
- Operate mailroom equipment, such as postage meters, scanners, and copy machines.
- Order and manage mailroom supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Work with external couriers and delivery services as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized mailroom environment.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 30 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
