Experience and Qualifying Skills

  • Ability to multi-task with an emphasis on attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, time management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to facilitate team/group interaction and decision-making.
  • Ability to develop and maintain harmonious relationships with customers and staff including exhibiting excellent customer service skills.
  • Possess basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience and proficiency in the use of architectural and construction project plans (blueprints and/or building plans) 
  • Experience and proficiency in the transition and application of mathematical measurement formulas and processes
  • Possess an aptitude for self-management and independent thinking.

Principle Activities

  • Provide assistance to Project Managers as needed.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to Project Managers & customers/clients regarding:
    • job specifications requirements
    • material recommendations and options
    • project design
    • installation procedures and processes
    • creation of sign schedules
  • Manage the Work Order process including:
    • the development and adherence to all project deadlines
    • thorough processing of all artwork design and approval
    • process all customer invoices in a timely manner
    • ensure that all project paperwork is accurate and complete
    • ensure that all complete projects are properly documented and filed
  • Monitor the project production schedule. Make periodic checks on production progress and completion for all orders.
  • Prepare for, and properly document, project/group meetings with architects, interior designers, contractors and electricians. Adhere to overall project deadlines and/or construction project schedules.
  • Research, document and communicate, where/when needed, the permitting and code requirements for project allowance and regulations. Be knowledgeable and current on all local and national sign codes and potential violations.
  • Inform both customers and project principles, in a timely manner, when project specs or timeline changes are needed.
